Loading ...So, the company I was trying to get printed with fell through, so I’m looking at other options my friends have suggested to me. Mysoti seemed like a good idea, but when I started to make the t-shirt, I realized they only have really muted color options for the fabric. This won’t do! My graphics must be blindingly neon bright!
However, until I find another suitable provider, please let me know what you think of the design on black:
I think it looks ok, but it’s not at all what I wanted. T_T Does anyone know any on-demand t-shirt printers that offer vibrant colors? For the record, here is Mysoti’s PINK and BLUE colors, for your consideration. I find them appallingly underwhelming, myself, but then again, I’m kind of obsessed with candy neon colors. I’d like to hear what you guys have to say. o-o
Also, the design looks surprisingly good on brown. Should I make this an option?

I don’t really have a general rule when it comes to T-shirts. The color I prefer it in usually depends on what design.
But with this particular design, candy-neon pink / blue is simply too bright. It looks a thousand times better on black because the design is not overwhelmed by the color of the shirt itself. I think it would also look good on plain white.
Now I will be the first to tell you that any Sister Cat design MUST be printed on lime green. And I would totally buy and wear that. But the Gabrielle design does not look to me like it’s destined for neon pink.
I love it on black!! It really makes the design stand out, rather than fading into the rest of the shirt. The brown looks good too, but it doesn’t stand out as well as the black in my mind.
I say go with the Neon colors, they’re bright and sexy.
Black looks good, but let’s be honest here. About every t-shirt uses black, yeah it’s used alot because it goes great with a lot of things but I feel it’s a bit over-rated and over used. Gabrielle is meant to pop out, just like the neon colors, sure black is cool, but it blends in too easily.
Yeah, those pastel tones don’t quite cut it. I don’t like black or brown either. As you say, it should be something insanely bright.
I agree with your decision to stay away from the muted colors… especially the pink… it looks like it’s already been washed with all the other colors in hot water on the first day you got it… and that’s before the first wash.
The black makes me squee (in a very good way). I think the blue’s fine, but the pink is a bit disgusting. Brown I am shockingly indifferent to.
Neon colors are nice, but I think it would be safer to go with the black/muted colors for two reasons. First, in my opinion the design pops more on the muted colors then the neon ones, especially the black. Second, I think the muted colors would sell better since not everyone likes super bright clothing. Just my two cents though
They all look fantastic to me, but I would be more inclined to buy muted or black so I could wear it more places. /end rant

It’s probably too much to ask but variety of colors would be nice too.
Brown looks much better than black in my opinion.
Black looks nice, but I own so many black T shirts. I’m a big fan of the brown, and definitely consider zazzle, I’ve worked with them before, and they’re fast and easy to use, good (but not amazing) quality. Might want to consider a T shirt in a slate blue (or blue gray or periwinkle) color as well, I think that might look lovely, what with the slightly purplish color of Gabrielle’s skin in shadow.

I agree that the Mysoti’s blue and pink colours too muted. The brown looks amazing though, as does the black. I don’t think white would work quite as well [as Bree suggested], but the ‘shopped version you posted some days ago with the neon pink looks quite nice as well.
Brown as a base color adds an interesting, and possibly undesirable, link to the fact that she’s sitting on a toilet. Just sayin’.
I would be inclined to buy this in black, but not in the pink or blue. As much as I love those colors they interfere with the design on the shirt. I want people to see the design of the shirt I’m wearing, not just that I’m wearing a shirt. Brown… Makes me think of poo coming out of the toilet, can’t go there. Sorry.
