I made these characters a while back for a comic collab with a friend that was eventually canceled. It was about a group of schoolgirls (each one was based off a member of the Beatles) who were in an acting club, and they would put on plays and have your usual crazy schoolgirl drama, but with a lot of silly musical references.

Since the project has been dropped, I still find myself thinking about it from time to time, and wondering how I could somehow incorporate the characters into Sister Claire somehow. Even if I don’t, I thought you might enjoy this old art anyway. XD

Turthfully speaking, besides the fact that they’re adorable, Tachi (I’m assuming she’s the purple haired girl in the first picture) gives me a real ‘subtle-villian vibe when I see her. I definitly think that she could be a villian or somehow inter-related with evil-cat/Sister Cat.

I like the top one, I think they could be villians of sorts that can use music to influence their opponents will.

It’s weird to me that I’ve been reading your comic for so long without posting. I feel like a troll when I squee at all of Claire’s antics (and your wonderful easter eggs) and say nothing about it. So firstly, YAY I’M POSTING ZOMG I LOVE YOUR COMIC AND KITTENS AND… … Hi.
Now that THAT is out of the way; I absolutely adore the characters. The girls in the top picture look more devil-may-care than your average school girls. For some reason, I see them more being good designs to incorporate as villains (though the redhead doesn’t look as enthusiastic about being evil, hehe).
Is that some implied lesbianism?
