A lot of you have noticed that I’ve had a very hard time keeping up with the update schedule lately. I thought I’d let you know why. I’m a graduating senior, and in two weeks I am not only completely finished with college, but I am also making an international move to Brussels, Belgium. Many of you don’t see all the work I do outside of Sister Claire, but a peek at my deviantart page might give you a hint as to just how MANY projects I am working on at any given time.
This is an average day for me: Wake up at 9, eat a small breakfast, work on homework/Sister Claire until my first class, then walk 20 minutes across town with my computer to my second class. My second classes end at 7:30, so I arrive home about 8pm, and eat like a starved person. Then, if I don’t have too much homework or packing to do for my move, I will stay up late to try to finish my next Sister Claire page. Incidentally, each page takes an average of 6-8 hours, so this means up usually up quite late.
And god forbid I want to hang out with my friends, or SLEEP, because this past month I hardly even had the time to spend with my family, who came to visit me all the way from Belgium.
This is not an excuse, because I can completely understand the disappointment when you come here and find just another preview. I really apologise, and I hope you believe me that I am not doing this because I’m lazy, I’m just very overworked and overstressed with graduation stuff/moving. I give you previews because I don’t want to leave you with nothing at all. Once my move to Belgium is final, updates will be very regular, I promise. =)

I have only one thing to say : hurray for RSS feed : I don’t have to come check here and be disappointed : I see on my iGoogle page when there’s an update !
Keep up the good work, and I totally understand the lack of time
I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say we understand.
I know that my school year just ended Tuesday, and a good number of people are either barely done or still working. Congratulations on graduating, and enjoy yourself in Belgium! Don’t work too hard.
At least you have a good excuse. My comic was 4 hours late today and that’s actually doing GOOD! My excuse? Horrible time management and laziness.
Really, just being a student is 100 times better than my excuse.
(Hmm, one of the slowdowns with my comic today was actually WISHING that I was moving. Not to Brussels, just to a house with better insulation.)
I fully understand. I actually kind of like the randomness- it’s a little unexpected treat after school. :3 Take all the time we need, we’re not likely to vanish.
Brussels is really a nice city. I miss eating a gauffre at the Grand Place and spending an evening at Music Village! Take your time with Sister Claire, we can wait!
I understand completely. I am from England and am in my first year of College and it’s stressful enough doing just the lessons, but then I have all the other stuff I have to balance; extra-curricular stuff, saxophone lessons, piano lessons, a social life and all the extra studying I need to do. It’s incredibly stressful for me, especially when my final results come back as something less desirable. But this isn’t about me. I’m just saying I can sympathise with you totally. This comic rocks and I love the quick wit and brilliant storylines you put into this comic. Keep up with it and no matter how many times you update I will still come back for more.
It’s like everyone’s saying here, and what I told Meghan! We can wait a little longer! If people really love reading this comic then they can suck it up and wait a little longer! Take your time Yamino!
Congratulations Yamino!
I’m graduating this summer too! So I completely understand you. Even though I’m almost finished with college I’m completely stressed as always. Take your time, sleep when you can and do what you got to do, we’re not leaving.
Sister Claire, the VG Cats of the pregnant nun genre!
Love the comic. Best of luck with the end of college and the big move.
*hug*
DO WELL AND DONT DIE OR THERE WILL BE NO SISTER CLAIRE!!!
see that? we <3 yamino
hooray for graduating! i’m in the midst of my last bout of finals as an undergraduate too, so i know how it is. congratuations on being awesome; you’re so cool!!
Complainers: LAY OFF, I’m not the only one who’d like to say so, I’m sure. Yamino, you seriously need more rest, so get some good shut-eye. Reasonable people know that good things are worth waiting for, plus Graduation and moving don’t happen every Monday and Thursday, concentrate on what’s more important for the time being alright? Take a break if you need it, I’m sure everyone understands
If SOME people do NOT, don’t worry, there will be fans to verbally bash such individuals
Once again, good luck on everything.
