As those of you following my Twitter already know, I’ve been reading a lot of the manga “Fairy Tail” lately. As it is with most series I read/watch there’s only one character I really care about who keeps me reading/watching, and in this case, it’s Erza. Oh Erza! You’ve rekindled my flame for Princely Girls! Ever since Utena I’ve had a small obsession.
In any case, I decided it was time to dig up an old character design for a Sister Claire character I’d long forgotten about, and re-design her. Because every decent story should have a Princely Girl!

Wow. I would think that the spike/fringe/spurs on the boots would get annoying. The hat is very swashbuckler. I could also see her being from a more militant church/ rival religious order (St. Joan of Arc, St. Sophia/Templar/Crusaders, St. Bridget) or a non-religious order that mercenaries out occult-busting to pay the bills. Oo… maybe runs into Sister Cat while Claire is otherwise occupied and then teams up with Claire!
I love your character designs and saturated color palettes. I can’t help but wonder what the other big Biblical archangels Michael (Michelle/Michaela?), Raphael(le) and Uriel (Yurielle?) might look like.
Ooo, Ooo, I’d want to make her last name something Germanic with that harkens to nobility like Ritter.
Can you tell I like painting in the backgrounds of other people’s secondary or tertiary characters. ^.^;;
