On December 1, 2008, I posted the first page of my webcomic, “Sister Claire.”
I’ve been so caught up with other deadlines, I nearly forgot that I haven’t organized anything for this momentous occasion! I’m not even going to be in town when it happens- I’ll be in London seeing Janelle Monae. XD; But I think I may have an idea-
Rather than just a celebration on one day, why not spread it across the entire month of December? I’ve always wanted to do some kind of Sister Claire Advent Calendar event, where something is posted/revealed every day. I think I’ll try to post a sketch/photo/illustration every day.
Also, I’m planning a FAN CONTEST! 8D
1st prize: Signed A3 Sister Claire Stained Glass poster + Hawaiian Xmas Postcard + 2 Kitty Xmas postcards
2nd-3rd prize: Hawaiian Xmas Postcard + 2 Kitty Xmas postcards
5 Runner-Ups: 1 Kitty Xmas postcard
This isn’t just a regular fanart contest. I want you to get as creative as possible- think outside the box! You can submit anything from digital art to fashion design (or food, if you liked the last contest that much! XD) Puppets, jewelery, animations, anything goes- you’ll get points for creativity. =)
To submit: Send your artwork digitally (photos will do, if it’s a 3D thing!) with the subject “FAN CONTEST!” to claire @ sisterclaire.com. Please put your name and a website/gallery if you have one, so I can credit you at the end!
The deadline is the December 24th, Christmas Eve. Winners will be posted on Christmas day!

I… I never noticed that Sister Claire shared the same birthday as myself.
My birthday has now become that much more awesome.
Too bad I can’t draw.
Ah, well. no matter; I’ll just enjoy the Sister Claire Stained Glass picture…very cool, BTW. And I think that Sister Claire is going to be an awesome mom.

Yeah … amazing as this picture is, I agree with Bree, she does look like she stuffed a beach ball under her dress. I think it’s mostly that it appears to be slightly off to the side from the rest of her body.
Its the way shes stepping, look at the way her legs are positioned.
But, unless my math is wrong, it’s only 2 years… Cause Dec 1, 2008 until Dec 1, 2010 is 2 years, right…? Either way, congrats on making it this far.

Noooo i just finished reading thought the arcives and i need more Sister Claire! I freaking love this comic, the story has kept me glued to my hard, wooden chair for hours! I hope Claire can get the hang of Nun-fu before any more trouble finds them. Also wonder what is the G.O.D org and can just anyone join it. And i pray for more Gabby, hopefully with more awesome gagets from Heaven, oh and a VERY late congrats on graduation and GL in you endevors or is it indevors, meh im sure you know what i mean, oh and one moreeee thing, which i sure u have heard from everyone, take it easy, REST when possible, I would hate for you to burn yourself out
