I always wanted to write a series of books about a nun who solves crimes. All the titles were going to be bad puns: “Nun Shall Pass”, “Nun of that please, we’re Catholic”, “Utter Nun-sense”; you get the idea.
I guess “Nun-chucks” works too!

lol i see the Michael Jackson resemblance now lol … and as for the Pocahontas thing … didnt remember it til about 3 minutes after i read that comment but yea i totally remember that scene near the end lol … so long ago though now lol … but yeah this page is awesome cant wait for more keep up the good work …

I got the Pocahontas scene, too, before I read the comments. I’m pretty sure there’s a dialogue overlap as well as the whole “racing the conflict” aspect

Well, vague overlap. Pocahontas says “Please don’t let it be too late!” The resemblance really comes from the rhythm, because it’s the same number of words and syllables with the same stress pattern.

They’re not nunjas, they’re just nuns. Nuns are the female pendant to monks and everyone knows, how well trained monks are in material arts. So are nuns, but in addition to that, they have awesomness.

Go Claire go! Your sisters need you! As many have said, you handled the action very well again. The use of reds and oranges makes it look like the chapel’s on fire or something. I have an idea about what’s going to happen, but I don’t want to spoil things should I be correct.
@ Sabina: Well, Yamino can’t show it right away. A pregnant woman’s belly doesn’t technically start expanding (creating a baby bump) until the fourth or fifth month! Claire couldn’t possibly be that far along yet.
On an unrelated note, I hope Yamino is decently realistic about the limitations pregnancy would impose on Claire. It would at least make movement (especially martial arts-type flips, climbing ladders, and so forth) harder, by virtue of being heavier, but probably also make her ill or give her a weak bladder. It’s not really the realism I’m wanting, but rather how awesome it’d be if Claire could kick ass in spite of it.
(Okay, maybe Claire isn’t an asskicking type exactly, but it’d probably still come into play during action scenes like this.)
