I’m posting today’s page early, because, amazingly, I FINISHED IT BEFORE 6AM! It’s 1am here in Belgium, so it’s technically Monday already. I’ve decided to start updating on my own Belgian time if I can. Of course, most of my readers are in the US, so if I absolutely have to I can still stay up till 6am and be “on time…”
Anyway, WHOO. I loved drawing this page. Although I hope the novelty of all this insane lighting doesn’t wear off and make me want to kill myself for the next several pages to come. Time to go clubbin’, Gabrielle style!

Have you ever thought of doing a stream of you drawing? I’ve watched the author of Goblins and Gunnerkrigg draw and shoot the shit with their fans, and it’s pretty cool. You should try it if you can.
I just realized, is it really a good idea to take Claire to a nightclub while she is pregnant?
Some of the suited-up fish remind me of the Sign of the Seahorse, by Graeme Base. That was a great book, and Graeme Base is a great illustrator.
Anyways, it features fish and sharks and a giant eel, all dressed in suits and things. Look it up.
I don’t think anyone got the M.I.B. alien that’s hanging out on that clam seat… looks just like a club I designed for class for a preexisting building in West Hollywood, it was called Grotto, awesome job! (any chance we’ll be seeing a few of Junko Mizuno’s mermaids make an appearance?)

Omfg. Okay, well.. All I can say is that I’m really starting to become a fan of yours. In fact, my best friend (The0Amazing0Joe) started me on this comic! :] I really like it. It’s pretty original, and trust me.. Originality is hard to come by now-a-days. Sadly.. My only problem is that the pages take so long to load! But it’s worth the wait.
