Took me a while to finally get this page done, but I’m pretty happy with it! I haven’t shown much of Claire and Catharine’s relationship much up to this point, which is a shame. Ah well, plenty of opportunity for that in the next chapters! 8D

A real mother as opposed to the Mother Superior? Or as opposed to Claire’s biological mother, if we assume “real” means “takes care of me and loves me.” I’m assuming Claire’s biological mother is probably dead (this may or may not be true), but since she was raised by Catharine we can be sure Claire never knew her, thus Claire may not consider her biological mother to be a “real” mother to her.
It looks kind of like Clair’es eyes are brown instead of blue in the second panel, but i guess that’s just the lighting.
This makes me sad

Hmmm, so now we have a connection which borders on empathy. But with two different sides vying for Claire’s very soul, I can’t wait to see which part of Catherine’s personality actually ties in with her desires for Claire, be they maternal or evil. Hope you feel better Yamino-senpai.
