Cute, but you overlooked one minor detail, Yamino…as a Catholic, Claire would be against the use of the word Xmas, as Christians believe the word to be a part of a conspiracy to de-Christianize the holiday.
Actually “X” in Greek is ‘chi’ and the first letter in the word Christ and has been used for the past 1000 years before the modern “x-mas” was commonly used. Chi Rho is the full name for Christ in Greek and the symbol of combining the two (X and P) is still seen and used today in Catholic, Protestant, and Orthodox faiths to represent Christ. ☧
So saying “x-mas” shouldn’t be upsetting to anyone of the Christian faith, especially Catholics.
