And thus concludes this chapter! Man, I love doing these psychadelic pages, but I sure won’t be missing the crowd scenes! PHEW. On to chapter 6!

I had SO much fun with the colors in this scene. Get ready for the GRAND FINALE COLOR-SPLOSION!! For those interested, Gloria in Excelsis Deo is a real song. Read more about it (and the lyric’s meaning) here! And if you want to see a slightly larger, textless version, you only need CLICK HERE. =D
For those people who have been asking about the song, you can listen to the original Latin version here.
Not to be confused with the Christmas song, Angels We Have Heard On High, although that song does have a chorus that repeats “GloooOOoOoOoOrai, in Excelsis Deo!” (Latin for “Glory to God in the highest”) The phrase is actually pretty common in Catholic hymns.
I think this page has my favorite colors of any other page! This chapter is almost over- soon we’ll be seeing what’s been going on with Sister Cat, for those who have been wondering.
Maybe this’ll help get back some of the viewership I lost while I was DYING.
I saw someone else making these, and I had this ridiculous idea…
…Had to edit Gabrielle’s skin, for some crazy reason, blue is not a skin option! HOW RACIST.
Btw, there really are people with blue skin. THE MORE YOU KNOW!
Thanks again to Alec for sending in this guest page! He’s got his own religious-themed webcomic, Estangel! (www.estrangelcomic.com). It’s pretty funny! XD
I’ve got the next SC page all sketched out, but as you might imagine, it’s hard to get full pages finished when I’m out and about on vacation almost all day. However, I DO have a few sketches to tide you over. These are for Sophia and Meimei, the 2nd and 3rd place winners of my last contest. They both requested pics of Gabrielle, who is admittedly one of my favorite characters to draw:
I’ve got a lot more sketches of Pele in my notebook, too, but they’re all pretty similar, I don’t know if anyone would be interested. XD;
I tried to join an Avatar iScribble party, but nobody showed! I was so sad. I made my own chat and drew a lonely little Ty Lee. At first, she looked really miserable, but then some random stranger popped in, so I made her smile for the company:

For the record, I find iScribble really obnoxious to draw with, it’s almost on par with TegakiE. It supposedly has a zoom function, but I couldn’t get it to work. And no undo function!? Come ON. Even Microsoft Paint has an undo option! I miss Shi-Painter oekaki paintchats. Those are the best. I’ve tried many times to set up a paintchat on my own server, but it’s a lot more complicated that people say it is, because I’ve never managed to get it to work. >8O
More Sister Claire artwork, drawn in the styles that inspired me!
Gabrielle-Arthur de Pins Style by ~Yamino on deviantART
Arthur de Pins is an illustrator I learned about when I moved here to Belgium. The first trip I made to a Belgian comic store, I bought all of his books. =P He’s most famous for his series called “Pêches Mignons”:

It’s a play on words, because “pêche” can either mean “peach” or “sin.” XD I love styles that can mix cuteness and sexyness together, so naturally he rapidly became of my favorite artists.
This whole image was made in Illustrator, just like his work is. I can’t believe how freaking LONG it took. If course, I did have to teach myself some tricks which I never knew how to use before, like masking. It was surprisingly easy once I figured out how to do it, just very time consuming. I can’t imagine how he makes so much artwork this way! The upside is, now I have a vector file that I can scale to any size! I think I’ll put this in large format on my wall eventually. XD
Miss Gabrielle and Boys by ~Yamino on deviantART
You knew this was coming, right!? XD
Not much to add to this… the picture pretty much says it all. I have always been a huge PPG fan, and I’m pretty sure it’s influenced every comic I’ve made. This show was what inspired my first ever comic! It was a PPG fancomic, with two Mary Sue characters (one was a self-insert, Brownie, who makes a few cameos in Sister Claire!) and the other was my brother, “Bruiser.” Oh man, highschool times was crazy times…

So I got this little number all designed. It’s just a matter of finding a suitable on-demand printer. There is one option I’m really hoping for, and I’m just waiting for a reply back to get the O-K. Of course I will let you all know ASAP when it’s ready to order! And boys, I thought of you too.
Of course, there’s a blue girl version and a pink boy version. Because I don’t like discriminating.
The shirts will be available to buy online and available for international shipping. (This is a must for me.) I can’t give a price quote yet, seeing as I’m still not sure who will be printing it. As I said, I’ll get you more info as soon as I have it.
(These photos are edited. I took the models from the Threadless stock photos, so stop asking me for the girl’s number…. Believe me, I wish I had it too.)
Also- I know some of you were asking for maternity wear. I’m still shopping around for an on-demand printer of DECENT quality who carries it. If you have any info, by all means, shoot me a message! =)
