I liked the way you drew Marguerite at the beginning of the comic, without the lines on her cheeks. I think she looks much better without them.

The 3 nuns in the background of panel 4 all have orange hair, and kinda look like modified Sister Claires.

They’re blond, actually. The middle one is Lady Oscar, from the anime “The Rose of Versailles,” and I assume the other two are Marie Antoinette and Rosalie.

It’s too early to tell whether Sister Marguerite is trying to help Claire, covering her nether-regions or acting in the best interests of the abbey. She’s mean and nasty, so I’d say mostly 2, with some of 3 in there.
I believe this is the first appearance of a “sistah” sister. Nice to see some diversity within the Catholic church.

Idk, guys, I think you guys are demonizing Sister Marguerite a little too much. Remember, Sister Catharine did defend her, as well as the fact that if you view from her standpoint, she is in the right. The evil thing is a cat and Claire ADORES and plays with cats…I’m just saying, a nun who’s fought countless evil spirits would not be out of place to assume Claire may have fell under the sway of such a dark cat creature.
Until we see her act out in a way obviously against the abbey, I think judgement should be reserved. The rules have a reason (this case shows it a bit – secretive Catherine ended up falling…) and so far, she’s coming off as a Snape-like character.

I agree with Kobukson. Probably why I’m still reading the comic – I love thinking of Marguerite’s many layers, why she does the things she does, etc.
This is actually the first comic I saw. XD
