For those of you who missed the previous updates (I have since deleted them) I recently got hacked, TWICE. Now the site is back up and better than ever! That was a lot of stress and time wasted. It’s good to get back into drawing pages again! I can’t wait to start showing more of the nuns at Claire’s abbey, they are such colorful characters and yet they never get a chance to shine.

This comic must have been a relief to draw with the relatively simple backgrounds, compared to the “Under the Sea” arc. I like Mother Superior’s walking stick. It goes enough to the Yoda side without making her character a complete parody. I love how Olga and Marguerite loom in the last panel. And, upon further study, I just noted how Olga still has claw marks on her face from Cat’s attack. Nice attention to detail and continuity.
Ahh… Panel #2. I love the “Eyebrow Raise of Epic Foreshadowing” going on there.

Thanks for the update and I’m glad you made it through the trials. Claire is such in the doghouse, though. All I could think aboutb when looking at the last panel was “LOOOOOOOM”… even mother superior managed to loom.

Curious chapel–lots of candles, including at least six candelabra on the altar, but no cross, not even in the stained-glass window, which seems to have a sort of Star of David design.

Yeah, I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed the Star of David stained glass window. What a distinctly un-Catholic church Claire lives in.
Every nun in the church is trained to kill and we’re wierded out by a star of david in the window? me thinks we need to rethink our concerns.
