I had so much fun designing those witches, and then I had to go and cover them up with shadows and text. 

I decided back at the beginning of this story that all the different covens of witches will have certain themes/inspirations to them.  It only makes sense, since the idea of witchcraft and magic is a worldwide, culturally-rooted thing.  The witch in the foreground there is loosely based on La Befana a witch of Italian legend.  The second witch is based off… um… voodoo pirates?  I dunno. Maybe I was thinking about Calypso from POTC. XD
