Ca me fait tout bizzare d'entendre parler français sur un blog tout en anglais. Il me tarde d'avoir le bouquin SC dans les mains <3

Alors... It's really weird for me to hear frenchspeaking(?) on an english blog. I can't wait for the Sister Claire book <3

It'll be interesting to see how PAX East does. First time we've had a major videogaming event on the east coast since the one year E3 was in Atlanta.

I unfortunately can't go; I'm involved in running a science fiction convention in New York the same weekend. Hopefully next year we won't conflict, and it will be possible to do both PAX East and I-CON.

Re: Nightengale/Blind Accessibility

I agree with yoru observation, and its a problem for webcomics in general(there are brail versions of regular comics, however). The main issue with the idea, however, is that the iPhone is not a 'blind friendly' device. Touchscreen devices have this problem as they offer no tactile feedback and predictable control interface, unlike devices with physical keys. So while you may be able to make the comic/app itself blind accessible, you simply won't find much, if any audience for it on that platform(or any other thats pure touchscreen).

A good friend of mine lost his vision a couple years ago, its been interesting to see what is considered blind accessible and what is not. Unfortunatly, he's stuck on a fairly old phone since newer ones are moving more and more towards touch screens.

Before the boom of television in the 1950's, radio dramas were one of the major forms of entertainment. While accessibility to the blind was not a priority at the time, they did of the advantage over TV of leaving the listeners' eyes free to do attend to other tasks.

Even as recently as 25-30 years ago, there were still a couple of notable radio dramas. BBC Radio's version of The Hitchhiker's Guide To the Galaxy is very well known in hard-core Science Fiction fandom, as is NPR's version of Star Wars.

@rith:
Looks like Yamino took your comment to heart. "Jewish" is there now.
