Nun related stuff: Stigmata – Four Knights of the Apocalyse
on July 1, 2009 at 1:41 pmSo, I was browsing through a comic shop the other day and I found the first two volumes of “Stigmata: Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.” The two books were packaged together, and, unfortunately, sealed. I say “unfortunately” because I probably wouldn’t have bought them if I’d had a chance to look through, but that’s besides the point. I bought them because of the second cover:
Baka-Updates has a good summary of the story here.
Even though it’s published in Japan, it’s drawn by a Korean artist named Ko Yasung. The art is good, but not terribly original (and neither is the story, frankly.) Still, it’s fun to see another story with a nun as a main character, although the Gary-Stu type protagonist with his special bleeding scar is annoying enough to undo whatever cool the nun character provided. XD;

…yay Chrono Crusade?
This makes me wonder if you’ve heard of Akatsuki Blitzkampf. It’s a PC doujin fighting game with a futuristic pseudo-nazi look going on, and the objectively awesomest character in it is a nun named Anonym who dual-wields handguns and can resurrect herself when she gets killed.
I probably shouldn’t say this but you can read them for free at sites like mangatraders.com or onemanga.com
Look it’s Claire really sexy distant cousin who also happens to be a nun
.
@Gear-Reading something/watching something online is one thing,owning it is another.
Another good manga to look into if you like nuns is Rumiko Takahashi’s One Pound Gospel. Yes, it’s about a young, up and coming boxer, but he’s also in love with a nun, who plays a very heavy role in the story.
